Tour Update

Hey everyone!

Hope you are having a great summer.  This has been one of the best summers of our lives.

We are about half way through our North American tour and it has been amazing.  We started in Dallas in front of almost 50,000 people.  We have played shows in Tulsa, Denver, Nampa, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver and across middle and western Canada.  Omaha, Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Detroit, Washington DC, Boston, NJ, NY, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Kansas City, and today we are in Monterrey, Mexico.  They just presented us with a GOLD RECORD for the new CD here in Mexico.

If you have seen the any of the shows we would love to hear from you.  We have loved being back our in front of our fans.

Tomorrow we will be back in Las Vegas, NV and then California for a while for shows in Fresno, San Jose, Sacramento, and 3 shows at Staples Center in LA.  

Then we will be HOSTING the TEEN CHOICE AWARDS.  We have been reading through many of the DARES you sent.  You never know what we will be doing?!?!?!

We have seen more people already this year then any other year before.  Thank you for making that possible!

Thanks for all your support.  We really are thankful that we have the best fans in the world.

Jonas Brothers have a Menu

The Jonas Brothers have their own lunch box, 3-D movie, legions of screaming fans ... and now the teen-poppers have their own menu at the Hard Rock Cafe. But this "Lines, Vines & Trying Times" menu is about more than just grubbing on a cheeseburger in the JoBros' name. $5 from each menu will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, a cause close to Nick Jonas' heart. The 16-year-old pop star was diagnosed with diabetes in 2005. He wrote a song about this fight, "A Little Bit Longer," which is guaranteed to generate some tiny tears in the audience when played live.

So here's the deal: "Lines, Vines & Trying Times" is a $20 prix fixe menu that includes a choice of a cheeseburger,veggie burger, honey mustard grilled chicken sandwich or caesar salad, plus a drink. And here's the bonus: each order from this special menu comes with two raffle tickets to win an autographed Jonas Brothers guitar. (Cue a teen scream of, "Eeeeeeeyaaaagh!")

The menu runs through July 30, and the raffle winner will be announced by Aug. 4. Good luck, and happy eating at the Hard Rock.

Teen Choice 2009: Dare the Jonas Brothers!

Honor Society and Jordin Sparks at this years Arthur Ashe Kids' Day!

It was just announced today that Honor Society will be performing at this year’s Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day on August 29^th. The annual event kicks off the 2009 US Open at the USTA Tennis Center in Flushing, New York. Comedian will Ferrell, American Idol Winner Jordin Sparks, rising star Justin Bieber, as well as tennis superstar Andy Roddick will also be performing and playing at the full-day tennis and music festival. 

 

The festivities are set for Saturday, August 29 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y., from 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. For more information and tickets you can visit http://www.usopen.org/ArthurAsheKidsDay/ .

Fly With Me New Single

Guys ! Really exciting news.....Kevin, Nick and Joe have confirmed their new single is the beautiful 'Fly With Me' set for release August 17th and the video is being premiered exclusively on the Disney Channel starting this Friday at 5.55pm. There will be lots of chances to see the vid throughout the day as it rotates, Friday Sat & Sun. So make sure you spread the word and switch on to DC this weekend . 

Monterrey Concerts

Grammy nominated and platinum-selling artists, Jonas Brothers, today announced that R&B pop singer and 2007 American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks, will be the opening act for the band’s concerts in Monterrey, Mexico. Sparks will perform both shows with the Jonas Brothers at Arena Monterrey on July 31st. Due to a scheduling conflict, Demi Lovato is no longer able to join the Jonas Brothers for these engagements.

In 2007, Jordin Sparks released her self-titled debut album Jordin Sparks, which featured chart-topping singles “Tattoo” and “No Air.” The 19 Recordings/Jive Records artist is now set to release her sophomore effort, Battlefield, later this month. She has worked with hit-making producers and songwriters that include Dr. Luke, fellow label-mate T-Pain, Ryan Tedder, Stargate, and others for this upcoming release.

This would not be the first time that the Jonas Brothers and Jordin Sparks are together on the same stage. Sparks is a confirmed special guest on the North American leg of the 52-date "The Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009," which kicked off in Dallas on June 20th. Sparks will also join the band for their shows in Monterrey.

Happy 4th of July and Update!

Hey everyone!

Sorry it has been a few days since our last update.  We have been busy with a few things...

New CD (2nd Number One CD in 10 Months - thanks to you)

New Tour - Off to an incredible start - Can't wait for you to see the show!!!  Hope we see you on tour.  We are so excited for you to see the show, Jordin Sparks, Honor Society, Wonder Girls, etc.

AND OF COURSE...

KEVIN AND DANIELLE ARE NOW OFFICIALLY ENGAGED!!!!  We are so happy that she will be joining our family.

The shows have been amazing.  We will give a complete update soon.  Today we are celebrating the 4th of July in Utah at the Stadium of Fire event.  Then we head back for another show in Canada.

We will be traveling throughout the summer in North America.  

Then we will be filming the 2nd Camp Rock.

After that we will be touring some more in North and South America and Europe (and hopefully other places around the world).

We are thrilled at the opportunities you give us to live our dreams.  Our fans are the best and we plan to keep doing this for as long as it is still possible.

Congrats to Kevin and Danielle!

I know I've always said I would not write about the boys personal lives, but this is a joyous occasion and it was on their myspace.

Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle Deleasa for her hand in marriage. Her answer was yes and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date. Family is very dear to us and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our families celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. Thank you for all of your support.
