First #1!!

The boys have done it! There album went to #1 by selling 525,000 copies in the first week of sales.

Here is a piece of the article.

According to Nielsen SoundScan, A Little Bit Longer sold just over 525,000 copies during week one, making it one of the year's best-selling debuts. On top of that, the Jonas Brothers' 2007 self-titled effort returns to the Top 10 on next week's Billboardalbums sales chart, at #10, after selling another 31,000 units, marking the first time a group has done so since 'NSYNC back in late 1998; that's when that act's 1998 self-titled effort claimed the #2 spot with 535,700 sold, and 1998's Home for Christmasrounded out the Top 10 with 265,600 copies scanned.

But there's more! Not only can the Jonases — who will perform at the VMAs on September 7 — claim the nation's best-selling and 10th best-selling albums, but the "Camp Rock" soundtrack, which features three tracks from the boys, holds the #8 position, selling around 50,000 copies — meaning there are three albums featuring their songs in next week's Top 10.

And there's even more! Thanks to A Little Bit Longer, the Jonas Brothers have eclipsed the first-week sales generated by fellow Disney Channel juggernaut Miley Cyrus, who stars in the "Hannah Montana" series and films. Miley's Breakout sold nearly 371,400 copies to debut at #1, or close to 150,000 fewer copies than the Jonases. Breakout sold another 84,700 copies last week, and falls two spots on the chart to #4.
