Grammy Special

51st Grammy Awards nominees will sit in with CBS’ Katie Couric for a special interview on “All Access Grammy Special”. The likes of Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and big nominee Lil Wayne will participate on the one-on-one that airs February 4 at 9/8c on CBS News.

Timberlake shows up as a previous Grammy winner who had pocketed 6 nods in the past years. He is however, in possibility to be seven-time Grammy winner should his collaboration with Madonna in “4 Minutes” win the Best pop Collaboration with Vocals this year. Lil Wayne meanwhile, leads the nominations list this year with 8 counts. He is also one of the performers when the show goes live on February 8 at Los Angeles’ Staples Center.

“Couric has an innate ability for getting people to reveal themselves in a uniquely intimate way,” says executive producer Susan Zirinsky. “This broadcast highlights her talent and showcases a new side of these celebrated artists like Justin Timberlake.”

Others slated to appear on “All Access Grammy Special” are Jonas Brothers, Carrie Underwood, Metallica, Ne-Yo, John Legend, Rascal Flatts, Duffy, Adele, Kid Rock, Jazmine Sullivan, Jordin Sparks and T-Pain.
