Faith Hill and Kid Rock have been added as performers for a musical tribute to Neil Diamond on Feb. 6 in Los Angeles. Diamond will receive the 2009 MusiCares Person of the Year award during the event. Additional performers include Eric Benét, Terence Blanchard, Randy Newman, Urge Overkill, Cassandra Wilson and host Jimmy Kimmel. Previously announced performers includeTim McGraw, Raul Malo, the Jonas Brothers, Adele, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Josh Groban and Jennifer Hudson. Diamond will also perform at the event. Established in 1989 by the Recording Academy, MusiCares offers assistance to musicians in times of need.
